Job Title: Advanced Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Operations Specialist to join our team.
The Advanced Operations team develops manufacturing processes for medical products of the future, forming strong teams with our development partners in Selzach, Ireland, and the USA, as well as with various internal and external manufacturing areas.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for the process development of New Product Innovations from Product Development into serial manufacturing.
* As an experienced technical expert, you will develop and implement new technologies with a focus on milling, turning, and inspection processes (e.g., CMM).
* You will support the Design Transfer project team in drawing analysis (applying DFx principles), evaluation of feasibility and economic viability, as well as in the selection and definition of suitable machine and automation concepts.
* You will work on validation concepts, create corresponding documents, and evaluate process capability. You will also take responsibility for the associated qualification and validation activities of equipment (IQ, OQ, PQ) as well as measurement systems (MSA).
* You will enjoy working in a global, dynamic, and results-oriented team environment where flexibility is essential.
What We Are Looking For:
* A technical or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with three or more years' experience in a technical role. Deep knowledge about manufacturing processes is mandatory.
* You have knowledge in process development, project management, and a good understanding of process optimization.
* Experience in an FDA-regulated industry and deep understanding in GD&T, process validation, and risk management are beneficial.
* You are a creative, innovative, self-driven, and open-minded communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and hands-on mentality. As a team player, you can collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
* You possess a high level of resilience even in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
* Fluent in English and German.
* A high level of PC skills required (MS Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
