Position Summary
The Sales Director Switzerland will lead the commercial operations in the market to achieve budgeted Net Sales, Gross Margin & Operating Profit. This individual will implement and influence a category management approach to enhance market shares and positioning of Energizer brands. They will ensure proper distribution and visibility across all relevant customers and channels.
The Sales Director will oversee a team, promoting continuous development and high engagement. They will also represent the company with major customers, suppliers, and external contacts. The Sales Director has direct responsibility for the largest customer, Migros, and contributes to the DACHPO cluster strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create a market vision and strategies to achieve it
* Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) and financial control
* Successfully execute sales initiatives across customers and segments
* Control trade spend and cost of sales
* Lead a commercial team and attract, develop, and retain talent
* Develop strong cross-functional relationships with Trade Marketing, Category Management, Finance, Human Resources, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain
* Manage top customers through annual negotiations and promotion execution
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a relevant field
* Comprehensive FMCG experience
* Strong understanding of the Swiss market and customers is an asset
* Proven track record as Senior Key Account Manager or Sales Director in similar roles
* Extensive negotiation skills with a proven track record
* Team management experience
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong analytical experience and P&L management experience
* Influential leadership and result-oriented personality with attention to detail
* Fluency in English and German
