Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the culture of our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security.
The Finance Manager (80-100%) is responsible for managing all treasury and commercial finance-related operations in the Swiss Finance Hub, acting as a local coordinator and partner for the global treasury team, managing local bank and cash activities. They are responsible for ensuring that all risks that could impact the financial integrity of the commercial selling entities are properly identified and recorded accordingly and oversees pricing and customer financing transactions such as guarantees and letters of credit.
The Finance Manager is a strong support for the EEMEA (Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa) region market Finance Directors as well as the regional Executive Finance Directors, while also supporting the Swiss Finance Hub in audit-related requests and ensuring compliant execution of the processes under their responsibility. In addition, the manager leads a team of three who oversee the sales-related accounting processes for the Swiss Finance Hub. This role can either be a full-time position or 80% Fixed Term Employment.
Responsibilities:
Team Management Lead, coach and develop three direct reports.
Management of the ongoing Finance Hub alignment.
Manage projects and process improvements.
Support Hub compliance activities such as internal and external audits.
Treasury Maintain, coordinate and support local bank relationships.
Partner with the global treasury centre.
Oversee guarantees, letters of credit and other commercial financing transactions.
Trade Finance Management of the 3rd party commercial sales process (revenue recognition; credit notes; pricing)
Provide general trade finance support to the EEMEA region export markets.
Provide coordination and support for customer service and demand management teams.
Manage the accounts receivable and collection processes in cooperation with the shared services center.
Qualifications and Experience:
Accounting knowledge and qualification.
US GAAP knowledge.
Minimum 5-8 years relevant work experience, preferably in an international environment.
Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes.
Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong people management, teamwork and collaborative focus.
English fluent.
Strong SAP knowledge, as well as good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Experience in a business concentration (Finance, International Business and Banking).
Flexibility and excellent leadership capabilities to integrate well in an international team.
Strong internal customers/stakeholders focus.
Strong problem identification and analytical mind.
Strong communication skills.
