Your Role
Lorenz Switzerland AG seeks a detail-oriented Junior Procurement Specialist to join our Geneva team. This role ensures efficient procurement of materials and services for our operations.
* Manage daily procurement tasks for raw materials like vegetable oils and corn derivatives
* Collaborate with internal teams (QA, Production, Logistics, Marketing, Sales) and external partners (suppliers, logistics providers)
* Evaluate offers, select suppliers, and support supplier development with senior procurement managers
* Create, monitor, and manage purchasing contracts for compliance and efficiency
* Ensure timely material availability, address quality, quantity, and delivery deviations
* Support market analysis and reporting for sales and customer service teams
* Analyze and coordinate stock levels with the supply chain team
* Maintain procurement-related master data in tools like SAP
* Contribute to strategic sourcing initiatives
* Assist with order processing, pricing, sales data management, logistics, claims, and contract management for the Nuts & Dried Fruit B2B business
Your Profile
We seek graduates (Master, Bachelor) in Business (Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, or Procurement) or comparable education. Familiarity with international procurement is an asset but not required.
The ideal candidate possesses:
* Basic IT skills, particularly MS Office (Excel proficiency essential); SAP knowledge beneficial
* Good German and fluent English language skills
* Strong communication and intercultural competency
* Proactive approach with willingness to learn
* Ability to work under pressure with analytical and problem-solving skills
* Open-minded and willing to adopt new technologies
* Willingness to travel during onboarding
* Swiss or EU passport and right to work in Switzerland
