We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead sales efforts within the Education (Public Sector) segment in Switzerland. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in securing large strategic wins, collaborating effectively with a diverse partner ecosystem, and consistently exceeding performance targets. Utilizing a comprehensive Go-to-Market Sales Model, the role requires a focus on customer value selling, strategic account planning, and the implementation of Challenger Sales methodologies, while aligning with national priorities. Key responsibilities include driving sales achievement through meticulous account and resource planning, accurate forecasting, and ensuring profitable growth. The role also demands strong financial acumen to analyze customer priorities, assess consumption models, and support business planning. In addition, the Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing existing communities within the education sector.
Minimum Qualifications:
At a minimum one year+ of account management experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience in selling large and complex technology solutions.
Fluency in German language.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to focus on business outcomes and articulate strategies to senior customer Executives.
Ability to lead large, sophisticated deals and position the business value of IT solutions to CIOs and business leaders.
Self-starter with the ability to build executive relationships, articulate Cisco's product and business strategies, create demand and close deals.
Demonstrated knowledge of working with complex technical solutions including calling on key decision makers and all other technical and business influencers.
The ability to negotiate solutions and resolve issues with peers, partners and customers employing a Win/Win philosophy.
Solid Understanding of Cisco's portfolio and service capabilities.
An ability to work with Systems Engineering and Architecture Teams in creating integrated solutions that address complex problems with a focus on the Cisco value proposition.
Fluency in Swiss German.
