Due to our continued growth we are now hiring a Supervisor Flow Control Room for our Supply Chain department in Galgenen, Switzerland.
Job Description :
In this role, you manage flow within the DC in Galgenen, from a system and technical perspective with a team of 3 direct reports with potential to grow in the future due to increase in shifts. As well as ensuring communication within all of TR WW regarding order management. Whilst respecting various regulations and constraints, the people-/process-/execution-management of said core processes are this roles responsibility.
Your main responsibilities include :
• Monitoring the timely execution of orders and introduce corrective measures in case of deviations.
• Being a role model for the EL leader-ship-principles and demonstrating active management of the individual-targets of subordinates (PDP) & team-targets. Maintenance of Skill-Matrix within the area of responsibility.
• Leading the further development of the team towards a culture of continuous improvement of safety, compliance, performance, agility, efficiency, cost, service and quality.
• Planning of employee-resources to ensure an efficient and timely execution, recruiting of staff and ensuring appropriate training on the job.
• Ensuring timely and holistic communication to stakeholders like Customer Service, Supply&Event, Security, QA etc. regarding progress and risks.
• Ensuring continuous flow in the DC and sufficient and balanced work in all areas within the DC including maintaining system data.
• Having a thorough understanding of the technical environment and act as a counterpart for the technical support.
• Ensure compliance regarding inventory, SOX, GDP, DI etc.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who brings :
• Minimum of 5 years of work practice in logistics with multiple years of experience in leading people.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics with specialization in logistics and / or broad experience in a DC and logistics environment.
• Strong communication skills in German and English, with technological language understanding in both.
• Extraordinary knowledge of SAP and WMS.
• Evident analytical capabilities, familiar with working in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Good knowledge of the MS Office-suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Team player mindset, strong communication and capable of leading change.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to constructively handle conflict and communicate pro-actively with people from an array of backgrounds and levels.
• An understanding of lean-management-tools and process-improvement-techniques.
• High degree of flexibility, able to make the right decisions under pressure.
