Solarstream is building the central working interface for solar installations in Switzerland. Our software automates document and file management, enhances customer and partner communication, and provides clear project status overviews. As our first full-time developer hire, you'll join our technical co-founder in driving our mission to make solar installations more efficient and error-free, directly contributing to environmental sustainability through technology.
Tasks Manage server infrastructure and handle related technical issues
Develop and maintain API endpoints using the Supabase JavaScript SDK
Integrate external APIs, including implementation of OAuth2 authentication
Build frontend components using SvelteKit, Shadcn-Svelte, and TailwindCSS
Participate in strategic discussions about data modeling and architecture
Contribute to new feature development and thorough testing
Work closely with founders on both frontend and backend development
Help ensure seamless data flow through system integrations
Requirements Essential:
Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL database management
Experience with S3-compatible storage solutions
Knowledge of Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Experience with OAuth2 and external API integrations
Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (ideally Svelte/SvelteKit, or strong background in Vue/React with willingness to adapt)
High coding and testing standards
Preferred:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Self-motivated and independent working style
Previous startup or small team experience
Valid work permit for Switzerland and/or Germany
