What you'll be doing here
1. This PhD position is part of a project funded by the SNSF and is offered by the Bern University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with the University of Fribourg.
2. Investigate how emerging technologies such as VR and AI change the way we collaborate, cooperate, and strategically interact in teams.
3. Design innovative experiments that integrate virtual reality, augmented reality, and AI into traditional frameworks in experimental economics, and analyze text data using LLMs.
4. Collaborate with a dynamic team and contribute to high-profile publications.
5. Participate in international conferences and workshops.
What you'll bring with you
1. Master's degree in Economics (or related fields, including Management, Psychology, and Computer Science).
2. A strong interest in experimental methods and Behavioral Economics.
3. You are curious, creative and highly motivated, and you are able to work independently as well as in teams.
4. A good command of the English language is required.
5. Additional skills include a background in microeconomics, knowledge of econometrics or data analysis techniques, knowledge of emerging technologies such as VR/AR, or programming skills (Python).
