We are seeking a skilled professional to support and manage the technical components of our manufacturing systems, laboratory equipment, and infrastructure at our Yverdon Bioplant.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Install and configure equipment in Process Science and Quality Control laboratories within our Site IT infrastructure.
* Administer equipment in Process Science and Quality Control laboratories, including user management and technical support.
* Provide IT end-user support and address their technical inquiries.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of IT rooms and storage facilities.
* Ensure the smooth operation of IT manufacturing systems, including PCS, MES, and BAS.
* Support the engineering and administration of various infrastructure components, such as Telephony and Videoconference systems, MS Windows servers, Linux servers, SQL/Oracle Database servers, Application servers, Storage & Backup Infrastructure, and Active Directory.
* Collaborate with teams to support manufacturing activities and equipment.
* Support converged and hyper-converged environments, as well as maintain VMware environments.
* Contribute to the IT Qualification and Validation process, including FAT, SAT, and IOQ.
* Implement upgrades, hot-fix installations, patch management, and server updates.
* Adhere to Service Desk request handling and escalation policies and procedures.
* Perform hands-on fixes, including installing software, hardware, file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
* Collaborate closely with EU/US IT teams to support daily infrastructure operations.
* Comply with 21 CFR Part 11 and HIPAA protocols, including change control, documentation, and governance.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of data center facilities management, backbone networks, server farms, SAN, and provisioning processes.
* Experience with configuring and verifying enterprise best practices.
* Proficiency in VMware/virtual server experience and knowledge of vSphere console, VMotion, and VMware management.
* Familiarity with Microsoft server products, Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, RDS, and other related technologies.
* Experience with troubleshooting tools like Wireshark.
* Understanding of data center power and infrastructure wiring (copper, fiber).
* Experience integrating Voice, Data, and video services over corporate LAN and WAN facilities.
* Proficiency in client applications, including MS Office, MS Visio, Adobe Acrobat, network management tools (Solarwinds), remote access programs (putty, SecureCRT), etc.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
