POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Hotel Asset Manager within Aman, you will play a vital role in supporting the Asset Management Directors in analysing and optimizing the performance of the hotels under Aman's portfolio. Your responsibilities will include conducting financial analysis, designing visual analytics, creating business review presentations, participating in asset management reviews, and collaborating with hotel General Managers and their operating teams to drive performance improvement. Additionally, you will be involved in various ad hoc projects related to asset management, finance, and investments, contributing to the overall success of Aman's hotel operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue & Marketing Strategy Analysis:
1. Collaborate with the Asset Management Directors to assess and analyse hotel revenue and marketing strategies, pace and forecasts & identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
2. Conduct in-depth market research to evaluate competitors' performance and industry trends, providing valuable insights to enhance revenue generation.
Hotel Profit & Loss Analysis:
3. Review and analyse hotel Profit & Loss (P&L) forecasts to identify accuracy and areas of improvement and opportunities for cost optimization.
4. Review and analyse hotel Profit & Loss (P&L) statements to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for cost optimization.
5. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to monitor revenue generation, cost structures, and profit margins improvement opportunities.
6. Present findings to the Asset Management Directors, providing actionable insights and recommendations to enhance hotel performance.
Financial Modelling and Analytics
7. Build and maintain financial models utilizing Excel & Power BI
8. Generate meaningful and insightful reports that aid decision-making processes for the Asset Management team and other stakeholders.
Business Review Presentations:
9. Prepare comprehensive business review presentations based on financial and operational data for individual hotels and the overall portfolio.
10. Where required, present these reports to key stakeholders, including senior management and investors, to communicate the financial performance and potential growth opportunities.
Asset Management Reviews & Collaboration with Hotel Teams:
11. Attend asset management reviews with hotel properties, working closely with Asset Management Directors and supporting corporate business units to evaluate and track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
12. Support the asset management team in the analysis and review of the monthly financial forecasting and annual operating budget process.
13. Accurately record and distribute meeting minutes and action items to ensure follow-up and execution of decisions.
14. Facilitate communication between the Asset Management team and hotel teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Capital Project ROI Analysis & Ad Hoc Projects:
15. Support in financial modelling and evaluation of renovation, refurbishment and capital improvement projects across the operating portfolio to ensure appropriate return on investment and payback periods.
16. Engage in various ad hoc asset management, finance, and investment-related projects, supporting the business in strategic decision-making and problem-solving.
17. Conduct thorough market research, financial modelling, and analysis to provide data-driven recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
18. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
19. Previous experience in financial analysis, asset management, or hotel operations.
20. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI (Data modelling and report creation), and other data analysis tools.
21. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.

24. Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
