Electrical Schematic Designer - Power Conversion

We are seeking an Electrical Schematic Designer to contribute to our exciting projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Designing electrical diagrams of power converters in the range of 1-10 MW as part of an engineering team developing power systems.
* Participating in Product Development and R&D activities across multiple product categories.
* Creating manufacturing and assembly documents and bill of materials, maintaining product data in our electronic document management system and ERP.
* Collaborating with the sales department to analyze needs for prospecting projects and provide time and material cost estimates for development or project execution activities.
* Working closely with the purchasing department on supplier qualification activities.
* Supporting the production department by participating in the industrialization of new products and maintenance of existing ones.
* Selecting electrical components according to inputs from the Power Electronics team.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals with:
* Extensive knowledge and experience in designing electrical diagrams and schematics using CAD tools.
* Drawing cable and harness schematics at sub-assembly and cabinet level.
* Experience in electrical design for medium size power converters, battery storage, renewable energy converters, or traction power systems in the range of 1-10 MW.
* Integration of protections, control systems, semiconductors, and measuring devices within power converters.
* Knowledge of electrical insulation devices, techniques, and norms.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the railway sector.
* A solid understanding of electrical distribution principles and their associated protection systems.
* Fluency in English (B2 or higher), with knowledge of additional languages such as French or Spanish advantageous.
* A willingness to travel occasionally.
* A team player who is autonomous, solutions-oriented, and capable of taking technical responsibilities.
