H55 is a technological spin-off of Solar Impulse, the first electric airplane to fly around the world. Our mission is to make aviation clean, safe, and affordable.

About the Role
This role is based in H55's headquarters in Sion, Switzerland. You will report to the Head of Aircraft Integration & Testing, focusing on developing test activities and strategies for successful product demonstration (V&V) of the Battery module.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Liaison with product and system development teams to capture test needs.
2. Defining appropriate test set-ups to provide test data in support of prototype development, qualification, verification, and demonstration of Safety of Flight Test.
3. Creating documentation, including technical descriptions, test procedures, and reports.
4. Executing complex tests involving electrical, mechanical, software, control, and instrumentation elements while maintaining safety as a priority.
5. Coordinating test activities with both H55 in-house test teams and external suppliers.
6. Managing external suppliers.
7. Configuration management of test assets to ensure traceability of test activities.
8. Assisting test and development teams with troubleshooting, debugging, and lessons learned activities.
9. Tracking and logging activities as required.
10. Providing timely formal and informal status as required by project management.
Your Profile
A university degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required. Ideally, you enjoy a role with diverse aspects, such as planning, coordinating, electrical/mechanical design, technical documentation, test bench assembly, or testing.
Ideal experience includes the Aerospace industry or other highly regulated domains like Automotive. Experience in electronics and electrical system testing is beneficial.
You should be aware of safety challenges associated with batteries and high voltage testing.
Knowledge of Labview based systems is a strong asset.
Open-mindedness and cooperation are essential. Fluency in English (oral and written), French is an asset.
