Position Summary
The Sales Technical Support assists in achieving the company’s strategic objectives by providing expert technical support and tailored solutions that address customer needs. Responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction through proactive and effective relationship management. This Sales Technical role includes all responsibilities of the Sales Level 2 position, with the following additional responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Level 2 Job Description
Discuss the use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of engines, trucks, and equipment.
Walk through warranty failures with customers and address concerns on denied warranty claims.
Phone sales and order processing.
Follow up with both existing and potential clients with repeat business potential.
Develop client referrals.
Ensure customer service satisfaction and excellent client relationships.
Maintain the customer and parts database.
Use promotional materials to increase sales.
Conduct direct marketing activities.
Make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients.
Monitor competitors and market conditions.
Assist with product development.
Attend Sales Skills Training.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, medium to heavy-duty trucks, and equipment (ASE certification preferred).
Highest attention to detail and willingness to provide support at all levels to get the job done.
Basic computer skills.
Knowledge of principles and practices of sales.
Knowledge of customer service principles.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
Experience in sales.
Basic understanding of business principles.
Experience in inputting data into computer applications.
Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
