The Associate Director of Legal Entity Reporting is an integral part of the GPS Controllers team and plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall GPS Legal Entity financial planning, analysis and reporting.
This role will collaborate with various GPS teams and corporate finance function to drive process standardization, simplification, and contribute to the success of BMS’s financial reporting objectives.
This individual will actively participate in various activities related to statutory reporting and legal entity processes including:
Global Process Owner for Financial Flow Governance
Legal Entity Reporting for all US Companies for GPS related activities.
Establishment and execution of standardized processes for global statutory and legal entity Reporting
Support Global Logistic organization for US import/export and management of all international Customer (Trade, Alliance and Intercompany)
Key Responsibilities and Major Duties
Collaborate with Tax Leadership Team to implement the strategic vision and direction for Companywide Financial Flows (Commercial and Clinical as well as Strategic Acquisition/Divestiture)
Lead the Overall Financial Flow Governance Steering Committee (approval, archiving execution) in collaboration with GPS Finance and Tax SLT
Coordinate with Tax for Specific US compliance Tax request
Foster effective team skills and ensure continuous training on systems and policies.
Responsible for Month /Quarter / Year end close processes for GPS US Legal Entities
Lead all Budget and Projection for US GPS Legal Entities Reporting
Supervise Senior Manager responsible for GPS US Legal Entities planning, analysis and reporting.
Liaise with All the International Legal Entities Lead and GPS Controller to coordinate Quarter Close Financials
Collaborate with Tax transfer pricing and Worldwide Product Costing groups to ensure proper Legal Costing and ICP elimination.
Preparation of US Cash Flow Budget & Projection
Coordination and Consolidation of GPS Legal Entities Budget and Projection cycles
Ensure Standardization of information and process across all GPS Legal Entities
Identify meaningful suggestions and implement solutions for a more efficient Global Legal Entity Reporting
Provide Financials support and controls for the US Customer Services Group
SME for Indirect Tax Forums
Support global Clinical Supply Chain for overall Financial Operating Model

GO Teams, Strategic Product Lead and Launches Team
GPS Global Supply Chain
Senior Leaders in Corporate Tax, Treasury and Corporate financial reporting
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred and / or CA/CPA equivalent preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of experience.
Experience in Large Multinational Companies (international experience a plus)
Experience managing teams
Finance experience within the pharmaceutical industry preferred
Track record of Legal Entity Reporting and Transfer Pricing preferred
Expertise in multiple accounting standards
Leadership skills to define and drive strategic business vision
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong relationship management skills
Adaptability and ability to manage change
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to drive collaboration with senior leaders
Familiarity with SAP and Hyperion related software
