Job Description
Fusion Consulting is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong focus on network infrastructure to lead and deliver complex projects in a regulated (GxP) pharmaceutical environment.
This role is based in Visp, with an onsite presence of 2–3 days per week.
You will manage mid- to large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of network-related initiatives. This includes upgrades, redesigns, data center integrations, and connectivity enhancements across highly regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage end-to-end infrastructure projects with a primary focus on network design, upgrades, and optimization.
* Oversee project execution including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline tracking.
* Engage with cross-functional teams (internal, vendor, offshore) to ensure cohesive execution and alignment with business goals.
* Ensure compliance with GxP and other regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
* Facilitate effective communication and alignment across stakeholders, including senior management and technical teams.
* Identify risks early and implement robust mitigation strategies.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensure smooth handovers, and lead post-project reviews to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* 4–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, with a focus on network-related initiatives.
* At least 3 infrastructure projects delivered in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with exposure to GxP environments.
* Strong technical understanding of networking infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and data center connectivity.
* Solid understanding of additional infrastructure areas (server, workplace systems, security) is a plus.
* Proven leadership in delivering complex, cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).
* PMP certification preferred; Agile/Scrum experience is an advantage.
* Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
* Fluent in German and English.
