Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced sales and P&L leader to manage our European operations, driving team development and engagement.
The European region is part of BRP's International Division and covers key markets in France, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, UK, Italy, Spain, Benelux, and Austria.
International has been identified as a key contributor to BRP's future growth, with Europe presenting significant opportunities for expansion, particularly with the introduction of our new 2-wheel electric motorcycle.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement business strategies for BRP in European Dealer Direct Markets, monitoring progress and adapting as required to identify new business opportunities.
2. Manage European Dealer Direct P&L and achieve territory objectives through leadership and management of the team.
3. Provide clear priorities and work direction to direct or indirect teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and BRP values. Lead, mobilize, and develop a high-performing team, managing performance and development.
4. Oversee risk management in the region, ensuring strict respect for internal policies, including Authority and limits Policy and Code of Ethics, escalating issues as required.
5. Ensure optimal network coverage in the region, developing new dealers and growing existing markets while upgrading network quality in line with BRP image requirements.
6. Implement marketing, go-to-market, and dealer development initiatives effectively in the assigned territory to meet retail objectives.
7. Nurture strong relationships with partners, both internally and externally.
8. Work with international and regional management teams, as well as global stakeholders, to align processes and create a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements:
1. 15+ years of commercial experience in automotive, powersports, 2 wheels, or retail environment in a multi-country region in Europe.
2. Proven expertise in managing a P&L with a strong retail focus and experience in managing and developing a network in a highly matrixed environment.
3. Proven track record of delivering on expectations.
4. Ability to develop a strong strategic plan and actions to deliver it.
5. Fluency in English; French and/or another European language is a strong asset.
6. Demonstrate keen business instincts, business acumen, and strategic thinking, staying close to data and being financially literate.
7. Ability to navigate complexity to create the future, capacity to thrive under pressure, and handle ambiguity, with strong problem-solving skills.
8. Go-getter and entrepreneurial mindset that thinks outside the box while taking full accountability for end results in a matrix environment with direct and indirect reporting lines.
9. Strong inspirational leader that lifts people up and creates a nurturing environment that enables our people to find their greatness.
10. Ability to work with different time zones.
