SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
You will be the lead Digital Design Engineer in our Switzerland-based ASIC R&D team, designing the digital systems and building blocks for MEMS microphones. Together with the analog/mixed-signal designers, project managers, test development engineers and other team members, you will be developing high-performance, low-power ASICs from concept to high-volume production
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work out the digital architecture and design specification in collaboration with the project team
· Perform RTL design & synthesis and supervise RTL-to-GDS
· Work out the digital verification plan
· Verify the digital system and blocks in collaboration with the digital verification engineer
· Develop low-power audio signal processing architectures
POSITION/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS :
· Degree in electronic engineering or related field
· 4+ years of proven track record in developing digital blocks/systems for high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits in a consumer or industrial R&D environment
· Good understanding of the entire digital design flow and DFT
· Hands-on experience in designing low-power digital circuits
· Experience with sigma delta ADCs or audio signal processing is an advantage
· Solid knowledge in EDA tools such as Cadence (Conformal, Genus, Tempus etc.)
· Structured and methodological approach
· Strong team player
· Good spoken and written communication skills in English
