Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of a pharmaceutical facility construction project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the construction process from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
* Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, budgets, and quality standards in accordance with industry regulations.
* E nsure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA, MHRA, and other relevant regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate and oversee contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee seamless project execution.
* Implement and maintain robust safety standards and protocols to provide a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Foster effective communication with clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks to minimize their impact on the project timeline and budget.
* Oversee the installation of critical pharmaceutical equipment and infrastructure, ensuring they meet the required standards.
* P rovide regular progress reports and present updates to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* At least 8-10 years of experience in construction management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sector.
* In-depth knowledge of GMP standards, cleanroom construction, and regulatory compliance is essential.
* A proven track record of managing large-scale industrial or pharmaceutical projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
* Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to succeed in this role.
* The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities is crucial.
* Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera or MS Project, is necessary for this position.
