As an Employee Relations Specialist (German Speaking), you will be responsible for managing workplace policies, ensuring compliance with Swiss labor law, and overseeing all aspects of employee relations for Huawei in Zurich.
Main activities and tasks:
* Define and communicate internal policies pertaining to Human Resources
* Manage workplace policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with Swiss labor law and the latest regulations
* Responsible for compliance and management of policies related to Human Resources
* Conduct personnel management, including work contract preparation, onboarding, and exit processes
* Collect and analyze employee data
* Use data to create employee profiles
* Organize and update employee files
* Manage contractors, including confirming needs with business departments, conducting interviews, and overseeing the recruitment process
Required Education & Training:
* Relevant training and/or certifications as an Employee Relations Manager
Required Experience:
* Proven work experience as an Employee Relations Specialist/Manager or similar role (5-10 years)
* Experience with local HR practices, employee lifecycle, and HR operations (3-5 years)
Specific skills & technical knowledge:
* Demonstrated knowledge of employment law
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Strong problem-solving ability
* Fluent in German and English (business level); French is an advantage
