Timberland EMEA is looking for an exceptional Digital Trading Specialist (maternity cover) to join our Digital team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role
The Digital Trading Specialist primary focus is to enable the Timberland direct-to-consumer digital accounts () to drive profitable sales, throughout the creation and maintenance of sales and trading plans, analysing merchandise and business performance, and having an in deep focus on execution.
The Digital Trading Specialist will also analyse the ecommerce consumers’ KPI to inform on consumers behaviours and demographics.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
1. Designing, maintaining, and implementing the Digital trading agenda, in alignment with Timberland European go to market and brand calendar.
2. Implementing and orchestrating trading initiatives such as promotions, activations, and product launches on digital accounts.
3. Work to define the right product offering/assortment and the right pricing/discount for each of the trading initiative in calendar.
4. Creating and maintaining reporting and analysis on business performance, guaranteeing elevated standards of information and accuracy.
5. Forecasting demand, discounts and future performance based on current trends and informing the cross functional partners.
6. Adopting a performance driven mentality, focused on achieving the brand financial targets.
7. Analysing ecommerce consumers KPI’s, to inform on consumers behaviours and demographics.
Skills for Success
You should be a performance driven, resilient, result-oriented and self-starter team player with:
8. 3+ years of relevant work experience, ideally in Planning, Trading, Buying or equivalent role.
9. Ideally having experience in Ecommerce /Digital channels.
10. Understanding of retail, planning and digital KPI’s and metrics.
11. Good analytical skills and data crunching abilities. Business and financial acumen.
12. Excellent knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of SAP and BI systems is a plus.
13. Language skills: fluent in English. Any other language will be considered as a plus.
A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in related fields are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
