Overview
This position is responsible for leading key strategic projects within the Technical Operation organization.
You will play a key role in operationalizing alliances and partnerships, driving and monitoring activities to ensure Technical Operations readiness for launch on time. Responsibilities include pre-launch activities with external vendors and partners.
This position offers global exposure and requires advanced project management capabilities, as well as good communication skills in a multicultural setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop Launch planning with input from required departments and drive operations execution from Business Case approval to launch.
2. Drive close alignment with Regulatory, Commercial, and Technical Operations regarding supply strategy for products, translating market/launch requirements to supply chain capabilities.
3. Monitor and communicate accurate and regular status updates of assigned product launches to teams, including external partners, functional management, and senior management. Communications are handled efficiently, effectively, and timely.
4. Manage cross-functional projects and/or programs:
1. Evaluate benefits, scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure understanding among teams and stakeholders.
2. Lead team meetings and distribute meeting agendas and minutes in a timely manner.
3. Ensure timely delivery of defined objectives.
4. Maintain visibility across stakeholders.
5. Anticipate challenges and risks, preparing proactive mitigation strategies for optimal results. Proactively manage changes in scope and identify potential crises.
6. Streamline and improve project management processes and tools by incorporating lessons learned and root cause problem-solving during launch execution.
7. Consider cGMPs during project implementation, applying knowledge of cGMPs to job responsibilities, including owning change control linked to project duties.
8. Contribute positively to a culture of business integrity and ethics.
9. Act within compliance and legal requirements, as well as company guidelines.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Business or related discipline, or relevant certification in Project Management with demonstrated experience.
2. Broad knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, along with GDP/GMP practices.
3. Relevant experience in project management, managing diverse and virtual teams globally while delivering successful global projects – in scope, on time, and compliantly.
4. Strong communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels, with fluency in English.
5. Proactive, pragmatic, and able to work independently, building trust and creating collaborative environments and relationships with cross-functional teams.
