Position Overview
The Maintenance Shift Electrician is responsible for:
1. Closure of all Corrective / Preventive Actions raised during the Shift under his supervision.
2. Sustaining and continually improving the Operational Performance and Reliability of the Plant Equipment and Utilities.
3. Executing all mechanical activities across the factory while abiding by Safety, Quality & Food Safety policies, instructions, and regulations.
4. Supporting and covering the planning part on the shift under his supervision.
5. Monitoring spares consumption over the factory and leading spares improvement projects.
6. Reacting in a timely and quality manner to production breakdowns and providing support outside normal working hours if needed.
7. Training and onboarding new technicians, supporting the deployment of the Autonomous Maintenance module through creating SOPs, training, and validating production technicians.
The Maintenance Shift Mechanical Technician is accountable for:
1. Implementing all specific Safety Standards related to his areas as per the direction from the Safety Team.
2. Documenting all activities of the Plant Maintenance Master Plan and Daily Shift Activities.
3. Updating Site Master Spare Parts Data against new Equipment and Projects.
4. Improving the number of Spare Parts Items through unification and standardizing the used spares.
5. Ensuring high levels of Technical Communication and Handover between Production and Maintenance Teams.
6. Supporting Site Projects Team during Installation and Commissioning phases for any new Project.
7. Implementing a Safe Environment for both Equipment & Associates and achieving 100% closure for all Safety Near Misses raised over the Shifts.
8. Triggering and supplying Technical Solutions for any Chronic Issues.
9. Training other Shop Floor Team members on Minor Breakdowns Troubleshooting for all Equipment.
Participate in all SES (SIG Excellence System) programs and initiatives.
