We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our team and drive growth in the government aviation market.
Your Tasks:
* Identify new sales opportunities within assigned regions
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing activities
* Engage with military and government organizations at all levels
* Lead the bid management team and ensure timely submission of competitive offers and contract negotiations
* Plan and execute product demonstrations, VIP visits, and attendance at airshows and trade conferences
* Capture market requirements and collaborate with Product Management to guide training system development
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A business or marketing university diploma or engineering degree is highly desirable
* Experience as a military pilot and flight instructor on 4th or 5th generation front line platforms is required
* Proven experience in management-level positions during your career is essential
* A background as a fast jet pilot with experience on 5th generation fighters (e.g. F-35) is highly desirable
* Knowledge of Ministry of Defence/government procurement procedures and strategies is highly desirable
* Excellent communication skills in English
* The ability to thrive in a demanding environment and adapt to changing work schedules and overseas travel requirements
