As a Senior MES Application Engineer, you will be a leader and contributor for the smooth operation of the sites MES system. You take on the responsibility for the design, specification, implementation, qualification, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of the manufacturing execution system in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. You will be the liaison between Manufacturing, IT/OT departments and global partners. You will report to the Site Head IT/OT.
Key responsibilities:
Act as system owner for the MES and take the lead for the overall operation and maintenance of the system.
Plan and coordinate all change- and release management activities and guarantee the smooth operation of the system, including 2nd level support.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, other IT/OT service owners, and operational units to understand requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into scalable and effective technical solutions.
Create and maintain GMP documents according to standards.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, carrying out validation activities and support deviation investigation and CAPA development and completion.
Be a technical expert to equipment and systems regarding operation and troubleshooting.
Key requirements:
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field of study.
Experience-based knowledge and understanding are essential to success.
1 to 2 years of experience as MES Application Manager/System Owner for a pharmaceutical company.
5 to 8 years professional experience in IT for manufacturing sites.
GMP environment experience.
Previous exposure to any of the commercial MES systems.
Previous experience in management of IT applications connected to external systems.
Previous exposure supporting Microsoft infrastructure (Windows Server, MS SQL).
