Data Governance Analyst
Swisslinx is seeking a skilled Data Governance Analyst to support the implementation and maintenance of data governance processes across the Bank.
Main Responsibilities:
* Implement data governance processes and practices across the Bank.
* Maintain the central data catalogue, ensuring accurate capture and accessibility of data lineage, definitions, and other relevant information.
* Develop and maintain a data classification framework, categorizing data based on sensitivity, criticality, and usage.
* Establish and monitor data quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
* Act as a data steward for the Department, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and proper management of securities data.
* Collaborate with department units to ensure correct classification, storage, and protection of data.
* Monitor and report on data quality and usage, identifying and addressing any issues or discrepancies.
About Swisslinx:
This is an initial contract running for 12+ months with strong likelihood to extend on a long-term basis. The Data Steward will play a key role in implementing the Bank's data protection measures, ensuring robust safeguards for sensitive and critical data.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in data management and data stewardship, including experience in implementing data management and data loss prevention.
* Experience developing and monitoring data quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
* Strong understanding of data management principles, practices, and frameworks.
* Familiarity with data classification frameworks and metadata management.
* Proficiency using data governance software (such as Collibra or similar).
* Ability to translate requirements between IT and business stakeholders.
* Fluency in English.
