Job Description
We are seeking a Lean/Continuous Improvement Project Manager (100%) to join our team in Cressier, FR.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Lean support for projects of large scope and high complexity with cross-functional activities.
* Lead moderate to complex cross-functional Lean projects, having significant long-term strategic and financial impact for the company.
* Identify key improvement thinking, approaches and capabilities critical to improving operational and financial performance across our business.
* Utilize various methods to analyze existing workflows and processes.
* Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations to management.
* Partner with senior leaders in determining Bio-Rad priorities and capability gaps to deliver on business objectives.
* Help establish business metrics that drives business results through cross-functional management of initiatives.
* Assess the value of various initiatives weighing effort vs. Impact.
* Improve decision-making model and problem-solving capabilities within high-performance teams to increase autonomy and the pace of change at all levels.
* Design, deliver and facilitate training on Lean Six Sigma and process improvement.
* Embody and promote lean thinking mindset in the organization.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant technology.
* 6+ years experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with lasting impact.
* Black Belt Certification or equivalent in Lean or Six Sigma from recognized organization.
* Strong analytical skills including data collection and synthesis.
* Proven success in thinking and acting from an enterprise viewpoint.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Senior Management in determining priorities and creating Kaizen Funnels accordingly.
* Experience implementing strategy through Policy Deployment (Hoshin Kanri).
* Training or certification in one or more of the following: Standard Work, Visual and Daily Management, Problem Solving Process, Transactional Process Improvement, Value Stream Mapping.
