We are currently working with a leading Medical Technology firm looking for a highly experienced Director of Automation to lead the global Automation team. As part of a growing organization, you will play a key role in influencing the strategic direction of the business unit.
You will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the architecture, design, and implementation of high-quality technological solutions for clients in the pharmaceutical sector.
* Managing project timelines, resource allocation and delivery.
* Lead a global, cross-functional team, drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business unit, foster collaboration and innovation.
* Implementing efficient structures, processes and systems to take the team to the next level of growth.
* Ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Ensure and improve the reliability and scalability of the company's technological platforms and solutions.
An ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
* Tertiary Education in computer science, electrical engineering, or other relevant engineering fields.
* 20+ years of industry experience, including a minimum of 10 years in a leadership and people management role.
* Strong Automation knowledge and understanding of regulated environments.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Fluency in English and German.
