Job Title: Application Engineer (H/F) – AirspaceSafety Systems Engineer
Location:
Based in Geneva, with occasional travel toZurich.
Job Overview:
We are seekingan experienced Application Engineer with expertise insafety-critical domains to support our radar display solution. Thesuccessful candidate will play a key role in softwarespecification, testing, and documentation, ensuring compliance withmission-critical requirements. This position offers a challengingtechnical environment, requiring a high degree of rigor, autonomy,andcommitment.
Responsibilities:
* RequirementsManagement:
o Create and maintainapplication documentation, including system and software-levelrequirements and associated test cases.
o Reviewand test deliverables against specifications, establishing robusttesttraceability.
* Testing& Quality Assurance:
o Develop andexecute test plans, and prepare detailed testreports.
o Perform formal system tests, such asFactory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests(SAT).
o Synchronize and update results in theTest Results Managementtool.
* IssueAnalysis:
o Analyze, document, andmanage issues/bugs using tools likeJIRA.
o Perform root cause analysis fordefects/incidents.
* Support& Maintenance:
o Provide 3rd levelmaintenance support in collaboration with internal teams andcustomers.
o Participate in system enhancementsand contribute to development activities asneeded.
TechnicalSkills &Qualifications:
* MandatoryRequirements:
o A minimum of 5 years’experience in a safety-critical domain, preferably in air trafficmanagement or similar environments with real-time and securityrequirements.
o Strong knowledge of requirementsmanagement and testing processes for mission-criticalsoftware.
o High analytical capacity to interpretend-user needs and translate them into actionable softwarerequirements or test cases.
o Proven expertisewith formal standards such as ED153, ED109, orED12B/C.
o Proficiency in using tools such as IBMRational DOORS or Siemens Polarion.
o Fluent inwritten and spokenEnglish.
* PreferredSkills:
o Experience working in Agile orScaled Agile environments.
o Knowledge of testautomation frameworks and tools.
o Familiaritywith ATSEP certification processes.
o Fluency inGerman or French is anasset.
