Global Brand Strategy and Governance
The Senior Brand Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping Johnson Controls' global brand function. This key position drives all brand strategy, governance, and program deliverables for digital solutions and service offerings across the company.
Main Responsibilities
1. Developing Brand Strategy: Define and deliver the JCI digital technology and service brands, ensuring they align with customer insights, market trends, and competitive pressures.
2. Digital Naming Processes: Lead the digital naming processes and stakeholder sign-off to ensure consistency and alignment.
3. Global Rollout of Brand Strategy: Oversee the global rollout of brand strategy updates, transformations, and integrations, driving unity and cohesion across the organization.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders in ideating new impactful brand strategy opportunities, driving evolution in line with customer insights and market trends.
5. Competitive Benchmarking: Conduct competitive benchmarks and analysis for JCI's global brand performance in digital technologies and services, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
6. Governance and Progress Tracking: Lead governance in the global activation of the digital technologies and services brand strategy, monitoring progress and closing gaps to drive success.
7. Thought Leadership: Develop key thought leadership and positioning programs that build the equity and strength of the digital technology and services brands.
8. Brand Integration: Strategize and deliver brand integration approaches for new acquisitions and joint ventures, as well as for events and showcases, ensuring cohesive branding.
Requirements
1. Marketing Experience: Proven experience in marketing digital technology and solutions, with a focus on brand strategy development.
2. Brand Strategy Development: Demonstrated expertise in developing brand strategies for technologies or services, driving growth and engagement.
3. Collaboration and Teamwork: A proven track record of leading with collaboration and teamwork, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
4. Curiosity and Entrepreneurial Spirit: A strong sense of curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit, and willingness to actively seek opportunities for growth and improvement.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in written and spoken English essential for this position.
