Job Title: Legal Counsel Global Procurement
We are seeking a qualified lawyer for a temporary 4-month assignment with one of our clients, a global leader in the food sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice as a co-pilot to IS/IT and Corporate Services categories in the Marketing and Corporate Services spend group, fostering proactive relationships with procurement managers and buyers.
* Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for software licenses, cloud services agreements, and hardware procurement agreements, and provide legal, compliance, and risk analysis.
* Ensure consultations with lead lawyers on key legal matters and risks and contribute to strategies and initiatives in these categories.
* Raise awareness, visibility, and importance of legal matters to procurement managers and buyers.
Your Profile:
* You hold a professionally qualified law degree with at least 6 years of professional experience post-qualification.
* A double degree in Swiss and common law is advantageous.
* You have experience working with diverse disciplines and cultures, and can proactively manage complex projects' legal aspects.
* You thrive under high pressure/high visibility projects and excel at managing time and business-critical transactions, particularly in procurement (negotiating contracts).
* You possess solid experience in IS/IT and telecommunications contract legal advice and a strong understanding of technology, privacy, and digital/AI law.
* You possess excellent written and spoken English and French language skills.
