Job Description:
Responsible for driving global market share of the assigned product portfolio:
Defines the product strategy aligned with the solution strategies and company strategy
Drives new product launches and is responsible for lifecycle management
Creates KPIs (leading / lagging) to follow up on revenue targets
Collaborates closely with other functions such as, but not exclusively: solution managers, other product managers, R&D, marketing managers, T&E, commercial organizations.
Upstream responsibilities
Identifies opportunities to grow global market share of product portfolio based on customer needs (VOC), sales inputs (VOS), market trends, detailed analysis of current sales numbers and through collaboration with solution managers to identify gaps and opportunities.
Develops product strategy, including short- and long-term roadmap, value propositions, pricing strategy and business cases for new or improved products and services. Ensures the product strategy fits within the overarching Nobel Biocare strategy and the solution strategies.
Initiates new product launches, and supports product development projects, in close cooperation with Project Management, Solution managers, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, quality, purchasing, operations and/or third-parties, following the Idea to market process and the Design Control process, meeting value propositions, target deadlines, cost targets and revenue targets.
Ensures new product launches meet the defined value propositions, with supportive product claims. He/She owns the product support materials and drives the Product Marketing-Mix and T&E approach for the new product launch, hand in hand with the solution managers, marketing managers, training & education and the commercial organizations.
Manages lifecycle of product portfolio on a global scale.
Provides input to the overall product portfolio strategy.
Downstream responsibilities
Owns and manages existing and portfolio, incl. product positioning, value proposition and pricing strategy. Supports the sales organizations in the commercialization of the product portfolio in their markets, including internal and external training in selective cases
Defines product portfolio growth strategy in alignment with the commercial organizations, with leading and lagging KPI’s. Tracks KPI’s and identifies and drives countermeasures when red.
Collaborates with solution managers to identify opportunities to promote product portfolio, and supports solution manager in commercialization of solutions (marketing, training and education, sales initiatives) as a product expert.
Analyzes performance of product portfolio and identifies growth opportunities by partnering with sales organizations.
Identifies, interacts and builds relationships with key internal/external stakeholders and industry experts.
Supports global and regional events in alignment with the commercial organizations.

Job Requirements:
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:
Solid education in Marketing or Product Management
BA/BSc or equivalent, or Master degree in business administration or engineering is a plus

Critical Experience:
Proven track record in previous product management/marketing role to successfully bring new innovation to the market and to manage and grow a portfolio
10+ years of marketing/product management/product development experience or similar
Proven management and project management experience (budget / timing / leadership)
Experience in pharma / medical device / dentistry is a distinct advantage
