This role is key to achieving the organization’s financial and operational goals by serving as a strategic business partner to plant and financial leaders. The position oversees the accounting functions for our sites in Kirchberg (CH), Nussdorf (DE), ensuring the effective execution of financial processes, policies, and programs.

Responsibilities
* Oversee and coordinate the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with tight corporate deadlines.
* Lead budget and forecast preparation, analyzing actual performance versus budget and forecast to drive informed decision-making.
* Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reporting to support business objectives.
* Manage and mentor the finance team, working closely with senior management to support business growth and strategy.
* Maintain and reconcile financial ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Oversee the year-end audit, liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
* Ensure accurate inventory management, assessing for potential obsolescence and excess stock to optimize working capital.
* Generate ad-hoc financial reports to support various business needs, including financial performance analysis and annual budgeting.
* Reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial transactions.
* Manage cash flow, optimizing liquidity and financial stability.
* Enhance and refine reports from the ERP system, improving data accuracy and usability.
* Oversee statutory returns, ensuring compliance with tax, VAT, and other regulatory requirements.
* Lead the preparation of statutory financial accounts and audits, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
* Support additional ad-hoc tasks as required to meet business and financial objectives.
Your Profile
* 5+ years of experience in finance, with a strong track record of leadership and process optimization.
* Manufacturing experience required, with a deep understanding of industry-specific financial controls and reporting.
* Dynamic and results-driven finance professional with a positive, polite, and enthusiastic approach.
* Experience with inventory valuation, cost rates, absorption assessment and forecasting (revenue and EBITDA).
* Strong expertise in manufacturing controlling, including absorption control, forecasting, inventory valuation, and cost rates. Well-versed in statutory accounting requirements, such as year-end close, tax compliance, VAT returns, and periodic governmental filings.
* Fluency in German and English is required.
* Ability to travel on daily base to Kirchberg and to Nussdorf once or twice a month.
