This position reports to
Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be able to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in reaching the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance. The work model for the role is hybrid.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Facilitating resolution of customer cases by following a robust root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Presenting analysis results to the customers and maintaining regular follow-up on the status of implementations.
Assisting in the new projects, from factory acceptance test to commissioning level 4-5 until the handover, preventing and detecting technical issues.
Ensuring customer-focused Quality Management in a highly effective (Customer Satisfaction) and efficient (Cost) way, including processes and tools to ensure flawless and repeatable product introduction, manufacturing and delivery, service or project execution, identification of gaps, and potential for improvement.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, with proven experience in a similar or equivalent position.
Experience in Power Electronics, preferably in the UPS field, and willing to work in different environments, such as in the office, laboratory, and data center.
Possess an enhanced knowledge of electronic test equipment and the ability to interpret complex schematics and solutions.
Good communication skills and ability to handle complex customer conversations independently.
At ease working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluent in English and Italian.
Willingness to travel within Switzerland and abroad, typically one week and up to 15% of annual working time.
