Financial Analyst
The primary role of a Financial Analyst is to provide critical support to the organization in achieving its financial objectives. This involves monitoring and analyzing various financial metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities by providing timely and accurate financial data to stakeholders.
* Monitoring and reporting on monthly business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying drivers of variances and risk factors that impact meeting targets.
* Participating in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
* Supporting the capital spending process, including accruals, capital forecasts, and interfacing with the capital planning system.
* Ensuring effective vendor management, working closely with key suppliers to monitor spending and ensure compliance with all requirements.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, acquired through 5-6 years of experience in a finance/accounting role.
* High-level competency in ERP Financial systems, MS Excel, Business Objects, and Hyperion.
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or equivalent) required for this position.
