Sr. Counsel for APAC CSL Vifor Commercial Organization
We are seeking a Sr. Counsel to provide strategic and operational legal support to the APAC CSL Vifor commercial organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Provide Legal Support: Offer first-chair legal support for CSL Vifor's commercial operations in the region, including contract negotiation, drafting, and execution, advertising and promotional material review, and engagement with third-party stakeholders.
* Corporate Legal Support: Provide advice and legal/company secretarial support for CSL Vifor group companies in the region, including establishing new group companies as needed.
* Dispute Resolution: Manage disputes and litigation to protect CSL Vifor's business interests in the region.
* Employment Law: Provide legal support for CSL Vifor employment matters in the region in coordination with the Global Head of Labor & Employment Law.
* Compliance: Support compliance matters in relation to CSL Vifor's operations in the region, including regulatory inquiries or investigations and whistleblower complaints.
* Tech Ops Support: Provide comprehensive legal counsel and support for CSL Vifor's Tech Ops activities, including GxP matters, contract strategy and execution, and dispute resolution.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree and J.D. or equivalent foreign degree
* Bar admission in Switzerland or permission to practice in-house
* LL.M. preferred
* Strong knowledge of one main Chinese language
* 10+ years' international corporate or law firm legal experience
* 5 years' experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry
* 5+ years' international experience for multi-jurisdictional regions
* Solid experience in Tech Ops support, supply and manufacturing agreements and legal matters
* Strong analytical skills with ability to develop and apply pragmatic solutions to complex legal/regulatory matters
* Self-motivated, self-starter, results-oriented
* Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills and experience with various agreements
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and MS Office skills
