IKEA Supply AG is the central wholesale company of the Inter IKEA Group. It owns the IKEA products in the distribution centres, is responsible for cross-border flows and replenishment, and the sale of IKEA Products to the IKEA franchisees.
Job Description
The purpose of the Supplier Finance function is to globally monitor and administrate financing instruments such as loans for IKEA suppliers around the World. As Supplier Finance Specialist, you support business teams and IKEA suppliers towards optimizing development and performance. You also secure effective procedures, maintenance of all necessary compliance controls, and co-ordination between the different IKEA Supply Chain units and IKEA Supply AG.
In the assignment you will:
1. Verify (correctness, compliance), analyze (financial risk), assess applications from IKEA suppliers related to loans and equipment financing and secure proper approval process.
2. Prepare necessary agreements according to IKEA standards.
3. Follow-up loan repayments, securities, and balance confirmations, including monthly reconciliations.
4. Secure that databases and registers are up to date.
5. Keep an overview of the supplier finance investments.
6. Prepare correct global exposure reports on time.
7. Take part in the half- and year-end closing activities.
8. Ensure proper communication to stakeholders.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you should have/be:
1. Commercial education or equivalent work experience.
2. Experience in analysis of financial statements.
3. Solution-oriented mindset.
4. Very good communication and adaptation skills.
5. Willingness to ask "Why".
6. Eager to finish tasks within given timeframes and with the best possible results as outcome.
7. Good analytical and numerical skills, able to "connect dots".
8. Provide the best possible service to the business partners.
9. Good knowledge of accounting rules.
10. Fluency in English is mandatory.
