Role Summary:
The International School of Ticino seeks a Secondary Visual Arts teacher with Design and ability to teach DP Visual Art to join us for September 2024. The right candidate may be considered for Head of Visual and Performing Arts.
Candidates should be well-qualified and experienced in the DP or equivalent qualifications. They should be committed to high standards, interested in using innovative and inquiry-based approaches to learning, and enthusiastic about promoting international understanding.

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Secondary Visual Arts teacher with Design and ability to teach DP Visual Art to join us for September 2024.
The ideal candidate would be excited by the opportunity to help continue to grow an IB school and experienced in teaching a range of ages and abilities across the entire secondary school age range (11-18 years).
The contract is a permanent contract, and our location offers the opportunity to live on Lake Lugano in Switzerland or Lake Como in Italy.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
An EU passport holder or valid visa enabling work in Switzerland;
A university degree in a related subject and an appropriate teaching qualification;
Recent, demonstrable experience teaching secondary within the 11-18 age range;
An enthusiasm and passion for teaching and ability to convey this successfully to students;
Previous experience with IB programmes required, with further IB training offered together with relocation assistance.
