Cyber Risk Quantification Software Engineer
We're seeking a driven Software Engineer with DevOps skills to develop and maintain our cyber risk quantification applications within our private cloud environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to own projects end-to-end, working across backend development and private cloud infrastructure integration.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps on Private Cloud (30%):
* Work with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), including network configuration for containerized applications.
* Improve deployment pipelines and automate development workflows, including resource provisioning and configuration within the private cloud.
* Manage our virtualization platforms such as vCenter and Proxmox.
Backend Development (70%):
* Design, develop, and maintain efficient backend services using Python.
* Optimize database interactions and query performance.
* Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security.
Requirements
Technical Skills
* Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks).
* Good understanding of RESTful APIs.
* Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization.
* Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
* Knowledge of virtualization platforms (vCenter, Proxmox or similar)
Problem-Solving & Collaboration
* Proactive and takes ownership of projects from inception to completion.
* Versatile and adaptable, comfortable working across backend and private cloud infrastructure.
