Job Summary:
We are seeking a Credit Analyst to review the financials of an assigned portfolio of clients active in Commodity Trading, determine the risks involved in transactions, and make credit facilities recommendations to the competent internal authorities.

The Role:
You will report to the Credit Analysis Division Head and work closely with the Credit Approval Forms (CAFs) team. Your key responsibilities include:
* Conducting thorough analysis of financial statements and CAFs for a portfolio of clients active in Commodity Trade Finance, including their counterparties.
* Performing in-depth assessments of credit worthiness of counterparties and providing recommendations to the internal authorities.
* Applying and updating internal credit ratings to all debtor files.
* Reviewing and validating major counterparty, broker, and insurance accreditation requests.
* Providing credit risk assessments and recommendations on one-off transactions presented by the CTF department.
* Maintaining regular contact with the CTF department and supporting Relationship Managers in transaction structuring and credit line setup.
* Participating in client meetings with CTF RMs, when required.
Your Profile:
* A university degree in Economics or Finance, or any related field.
* At least 2-3 years of experience as a Credit Officer/Analyst with banks active in commodity trade finance, or experience with an audit firm managing a portfolio of commodity trading clients.
* A comprehensive understanding of Commodity Trade Finance activities and instruments.
* Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
* The ability to draft financial statement analysis in a structured, concise, and confident manner.
* Strong attention to detail.
* The ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* The ability to work independently.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with additional languages considered a plus.
* Proficient computer skills with excellent command of MS Office applications.
