Our client is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) that provides comprehensive services for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who has experience with the sale of sterile drug products.
The position is completely remote.
Responsibilities:
Pipeline Management : Build, progress, and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
Prospecting : Diligently prospect for new customers and record activities.
Sales Process : Own the sales process for each opportunity.
Customer Relations : Be the main commercial point of contact for customers in your territory.
Collaboration : Work with internal teams and represent the company professionally.
Event Participation : Attend conferences, networking events, sales meetings, and training courses.
Reporting : Keep reporting tools up to date and communicate major changes.
Negotiations : Handle Supply Agreements and price negotiations.
Expense Management : Manage travel and expenses in line with company expectations.
High professional standards and business awareness.
Experience with sterile drug product is mandatory.
Fluent in German is a must.
Strong customer focus with experience in building long-term relationships.
Planning and organizing skills.
Self-starter with a focus on identifying and winning new business.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Travel Requirements:
Regular travel requirement of 50% or as per business needs.
