Your role
Interested in working with financial data, risk and acting as the first line of defense in safeguarding our business? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?
We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Internship Program within Group Risk Control.
You’ll get to:
* learn about and monitor known risks, while also discovering and defining unknown risks
* examine complex transactional risks and provide independent challenges in line with our risk control frameworks
* be strongly involved in a dynamic team and will be in contact with stakeholders from different regions around the globe, gaining exciting insights into the world of counterparty credit risk, loans and derivatives
* contribute to the risk control of our credit portfolio largely consisting of Private Markets Investment Funds and Pension Funds by assuming responsibilities for the analysis and monitoring of these clients
* assess the creditworthiness of new and existing credit counterparties by writing in-depth credit analyses and determine the probability of default based on our internal rating models
* be involved in our efforts to have accurate and timely information about our counterparties, credit facilities and overall portfolio composition
* support the team to successfully bring forward the migration journey and combination of the credit portfolio onto one credit application
* propose your ideas for improvements and implement continuous enhancements in processes, applications and overall know how in our team and across our stakeholders
Your team
You’ll be working in P&C Risk Control Fund Financing and Pension Funds located in Zurich. The team is responsible for identifying, assessing, advising, monitoring and reporting for credit risks for Private Markets Funds and Pension Funds. This includes complex transaction bilateral and syndicated loan transactions.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
* has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree)
* is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
* has good communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
* is a flexible, open-minded and cooperative personality (you’re a people person)
* has sharp analytical and problem solving skills
* has a structured work style and is confident working autonomously
* has excellent interpersonal skills (and this is noticeable even when under pressure)
* has excellent German and very good command in English (written and oral)

Your program
This paid internship will last 6 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
If you have a successful internship, you may get an offer to return for our Graduate Talent Program after you've completed your studies.
