This Business Development Representative role is based in Switzerland (Zurich area) and will work across the EMEA region with a primary focus on France, Italy, and Spain. They will engage directly with prospective customers to communicate the significant value of LzLabs services and products (with the LzLabs Software Defined Mainframe at its core) and drive revenue growth by cultivating business relationships. They will be contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails, presenting our company to potential clients.
Your role
The role is responsible for the realization and positive development of the sales goals. This role serves a critical function to build trusted and mutually beneficial relationships with the end-users of company technology. Own and grow profitable Sales in Region for LzLabs services and products.
Your core responsibilities
Establish contact with potential champions into new accounts and support the sales teams to generate new business.
Collaborate with the field sales & marketing teams to build a territory plan, reach out to new prospective customers to identify new revenue opportunities for LzLabs.
Execute defined outbound prospecting and marketing campaigns & initiatives as directed and develop inbound and outbound leads into qualified opportunities for the field sales team.
Identify target accounts and engage key decision makers with compelling outreach.
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.
Present our company to potential clients.
Engage via social media and video.
Attend marketing events (road shows, conferences).
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services and customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
Partner with peers within the sales team to share knowledge and experience for the benefit of the cumulative group.
Make sure relevant data in CRM is up to date and follow the pipeline generation process.
The following skills are key for this position:
Proven track record of establishing contact with potential champions into new accounts and supporting sales teams to generate business for a new player in the market competing against popular incumbents.
Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in B2B business.
Brings innovative and creative ideas on pipeline generation and has hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
Can engage, qualify and question client (ideally MEDDPICC).
Experience with CRM software & prospecting tools/process (ideally HubSpot, Lusha/Zoom Info, Sales Nav, …).
Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
Strong foundation in technology or industry-related knowledge and proven record of ability to learn new products and technologies quickly.
