Business Development Manager
About the Job
We are seeking a driven and hands-on Business Development Manager to co-create and execute our commercial strategy and actively engage with partners across the dental and medical device sectors.
This role is focused on profitable growth, building strong partnerships, and accelerating the future of our company through hands-on execution and operational excellence.
Your Responsibilities
1. Develop Commercial Strategy: Take a hands-on approach to developing and executing the company's commercial strategy with a focus on creating value and accelerating growth.
2. Build Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships by actively visiting distributors and final customers to strengthen partnerships and identify opportunities for growth.
3. Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand key markets.
4. Distributor Relationships: Oversee and optimize distributor relationships to ensure alignment with company goals and values.
5. P&L Performance: Ensure commercial strategies are aligned with profitable growth objectives and contribute to P&L performance.
6. Internal Alignment: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., production, R&D) to align commercial goals with operational capabilities.
7. Marketing Alignment: Work hand in hand with the marketing manager to ensure continuity between commercial targets and marketing levers.
8. Industry Expertise: Leverage your dental or medical device experience to position the company as a trusted partner within the industry.
Your Profile
1. Dental Industry Experience: Experience in the dental industry is a must, ideally with distributor management.
2. Distributor Management: Demonstrated experience managing distributor's networks.
3. P&L Delivery: Able to deliver on P&L objectives and self-motivated to drive business success.
4. Execution Focus: A self-motivated, execution-focused professional with a passion for delivering results.
5. Customer Engagement: Willingness to spend significant time engaging with customers and traveling across Europe.
6. SME Environment: Experience in an SME environment is highly beneficial.
7. Language Skills: Business fluency in German and English are a must; additional languages aligning with key markets are a plus.
