Wholesale Controller
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure effective and efficient financial monitoring, analysis, and planning of business performances in support of the wholesale business.
This position will be responsible for assisting the Wholesale Team in executing commercial aspects of the business and working closely with the Business Control Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing insights to inform business decisions.
* Develop and manage financial plans, including budgets and forecasts, to drive business growth and profitability.
* Manage the financial performance of the wholesale business, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
* Collaborate with the Wholesale Team to develop strategic business plans and annual budget agendas.
* Evaluate investment opportunities from a financial and commercial perspective, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Support Store Planning Department in planning and monitoring network development projects, including openings, refurbishments, and relocations.
* Assist with credit control matters and support the acquisition and integration of new businesses.
* Implement operational best practices and support system implementation/upgrades.
Requirements:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with 3-5 years of experience in wholesale, franchise, or duty-free business models.
* Possess solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Demonstrate high-levels of energy, pragmatism, and business acumen.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with strong attention to detail.
* Maintain a flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude, actively participating as a leader.
