SUMMARY OF THE JOB
In this position you will lead Corporate Reporting for Holcim Group to successfully position the company as a leader in this field based on its commitment to transparency and environmental responsibility. Serving as a senior member of the Group Communications team, this role leads the company-wide workstreams for the Integrated Annual Report, the Half-Year Report, and other financial and sustainability reporting documents such as the Climate Report. The role also partners with investor relations and the sustainability team to create narratives and media releases on financial and ESG topics.
MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
1. The role is working closely with the other members of the communication team to source, create, manage and distribute financial and ESG content.
2. Lead Group reporting for the Integrated Annual Report and the Climate Report from setting the narrative and establishing the design, managing and creating the content to seeing through to publication in print and online (in English and German).
3. Manage corporate reporting projects and lead alignment with internal stakeholders (Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Sustainability, HR, etc.) and agencies
4. Core member of Holcim’s communications team, contributing to the communications of strategic announcements and quarterly financial results to ESG achievements
5. Partner with Group Investor Relations to support equity narrative, positioning the company as a leader in its sector with focus on superior performance, growth & sustainability
6. Partner with the Sustainability team on climate to ESG reporting to showcase the company credentials and achievements
7. Build on track record of reporting excellence to keep raising the bar for financial and ESG impact
8. Champion corporate style and editorial standards

PROFILE REQUIRED
Level of education/qualifications normally required:
Advanced university degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
Specific work experience:
10+ years of corporate communications experience
Profound corporate reporting experience in a similar role within a listed multinational company
Technical / functional skills:
Excellent project management and writing skills
Strong knowledge of Swiss and EU reporting standards
Strong experience in financial and ESG communications
Workiva experience a plus
Behavioural competencies:
Experience building strong relationships with subject matter experts in technical areas ranging from finance to sustainability
Experience working closely with C-suite executives, especially CEO and CFO
Leadership and managerial abilities:
Experience in managing highly complex corporate documents on the highest level
Language skills:
Full professional or native English
German a plus
Mobility requirements (time spent travelling internationally, nationally etc.):
