About the Company - Our client, a leader in innovative hearing solutions, seeks a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to enhance their online presence and effectively engage with our audience.
About the Role - The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hearing aids industry or, at the very least, experience in the health industry, with a proven track record in social media, public relations, and marketing.
Travel Requirements:
* Be prepared to travel on short notice for events, photo and video shootings, and promotional activities as required.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our client's marketing goals and brand identity.
* Identify target audiences and tailor content to engage them effectively.
Content Creation and Management:
* Create, curate, and manage published content across various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
* Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
Analytics and Reporting:
* Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
* Use insights to refine and improve future social media initiatives.
Collaboration with PR and Marketing Teams:
* Work closely with the public relations and marketing teams to coordinate campaigns, promotions, and events.
* Assist in the development of PR activities and other promotional activities as needed.
Industry Research and Trends:
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media platforms to ensure our client remains at the forefront of digital marketing.
* Conduct research on best practices in the hearing aids and health industries to inform strategy.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in social media management, public relations, and marketing, preferably within the hearing aids or health industry.
Skills:
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics (e.g. Hootsuite, Trello, etc.)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Other Requirements:
* Must be a fluent English speaker.
* Expertise in managing workstreams across diverse organizational levels.
* Willingness to travel on short notice for business-related activities.
* Location: Western Europe.
