The IT company Andersen invites an experienced Delivery Manager to work on a large-scale eCommerce project.
The customer is a multinational company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and it operates in more than 130 countries worldwide. With a focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability, it is committed to meeting the evolving needs of adult tobacco consumers.
The project is the development of the eCommerce platform for delivering reduced-risk products. This branch started as a start-up inside the client's business and has grown in a separate direction.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring that the team delivers the initiative (high level functionality) according to commitment and within the release cycle.
* Validating the initiative before taking it in the release cycle.
* Resolving blockers and issues that prevent delivery.
* Ensuring the team's performance and being able to identify bottlenecks within the team.
* Communicating delays/blockers to stakeholders in a timely manner.
* Being a bridge in communication between business and engineering teams, taking responsibility for accepting/declining CRs and new business requests.
* Communicating with EDMs of other clusters regarding development roadmap, dependencies and blockers, plan delivery accordingly.
* Being responsible for the solution of incidents in a prod environment if any.
* Release planning, making sure all stakeholders are aware of planned release, release notes sending out.
* Coordinating releases for 2-3 clusters, making sure releases went smoothly and incidents were fixed.
* Balancing between commitment and business requirements.
* Being aware of good engineering practices and adhering to them.
* Taking part in recruiting of new candidates.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience in Delivery Management leading large, cross-functional teams (15+ people) for 2+ years.
* Experience in an Engineering Leadership Role (Lead Engineer, Solution Architect, Team Lead, Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar role) for 2+ years.
* Proven expertise in delivering eCommerce solutions, including experience with platforms like Magento (Adobe Commerce) or similar technologies.
* Hands-on experience developing and deploying internet commercial solutions/platforms, ideally based on cloud providers, SaaS, and microservice architectures.
* Comprehensive understanding of B2B/B2C applications and their system integrations.
* Familiarity with end-to-end eCommerce workflows.
* Skilled in balancing technical and business priorities.
* Familiarity with software practices in both the BUILD and RUN phases of eCommerce platforms.
* Strong knowledge of Magento (Adobe Commerce) or similar eCommerce technologies, including integrations with ERP, PIM, and CRM systems.
* Solid understanding of PHP development stack, APIs, and middleware.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, IaC).
* Knowledge of modern eCommerce trends, including headless commerce, PWA (Progressive Web Apps), and composable architecture.
* Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
