Job Title:
Facilities Manager
Main Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Supervision: Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, oversee recruiting and hiring.
* Operations Management: Schedule and manage team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, set and track deadlines, mentor and coach as needed.
* Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
* Client Relationships: Maintain positive client relationships, conduct meetings on unresolved issues.
* Capital Projects: Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
* Inspections and Quality Assurance: Perform facility inspections following local, state, and federal regulations, suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
* Environmental Health and Safety: Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
* Vendor Relationships: Oversee vendor relationships, invoicing procedures, review price quotes for procurement of parts, services, and labor.
* Training and Development: Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
* Leadership and Influence: Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, influence parties to reach agreement.
* Integration and Problem-Solving: Apply knowledge of own discipline, integrate with others to achieve team and departmental objectives, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
Your Profile:
* Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or combination of experience and education, valid driver's license required, Facility Management certification preferred.
* * Leadership Skills: Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
* * Communication and Problem-Solving: Ability to guide sensitive information exchange, convey performance expectations, handle problems.
* * Leadership and Organization: Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of job discipline and department.
* * Organizational and Analytical Skills: Extensive organizational skills with strong inquisitive mindset, advanced math skills.
