Our client is a globally recognized leader in compression solutions, headquartered in the Winterthur area. They are establishing a new Business Process Analysis function at the corporate level to enhance operational efficiency and process optimization within their engineering department.
Responsibilities
- Identify, recommend, develop, and implement engineering process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., IT, Finance, Marketing) to ensure continuous process maintenance, review, simplification, and quality assurance.
- Develop and continuously optimize workflows in alignment with legal requirements, corporate governance, and best practice frameworks.
- Create and maintain process documents, workflows, charts, instructions, training materials, and other supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, gather business requirements, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop, document, and execute training content for existing, new, or modified processes, including their implementation in ERP systems.
- Support multiple business analysis projects concurrently, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to validate data accuracy and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business process analysis.
Profile
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in business process analysis within the engineering sector.
- Operational responsibility in engineering (e.g., department head or team lead) is a strong plus.
- Preferably experienced in ERP implementation programs, such as process manager or power user roles.
- Proven track record in process documentation, standardization, globalization, and organizational rollout at both corporate and local levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
- High degree of autonomy, pragmatism, and a 'can-do' attitude.
- Full proficiency in English.
