You will be an essential and important part of a small Internal Audit team and a sparring partner for the Head of Internal Audit and other stakeholders. Together with the Head of Internal Audit, you will further develop and establish the function within the Group. Audits and projects will be conducted either together, with co-sourcing partners and other departments of the organization, or independently, but always in close coordination. We want you to continue growing in this role, gaining experience, and contributing your expertise and improvement suggestions to the Group.
As a (Senior)-Internal Auditor, your development doesn't just happen on the job. You also have the opportunity to pursue further education and attend courses or training sessions offered by the IIA Switzerland or other institutions and associations (e.g., IMA, ACFE, ISACA, etc.).
Responsibilities Conduct/Lead internal audits to assess, enhance, and optimize processes related to operations, risk management, controls, and governance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and different stakeholders to evaluate and identify potential risks within different business units.
Gather observations, and prepare detailed and accurate audit reports, outlining findings, recommendations, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory updates to ensure the audit process aligns with evolving standards.
Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on audit findings.
Participate in the annual audit planning process and assist in preparing audit committee presentations, including tracking audit action items.
Contribute to the development of processes and tools within the audit function.
Utilize advanced data analytics to extract meaningful insights and identify trends in financial and operational data.
Design and implement data-driven audit procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications Advanced experience in leading internal/external audits, risk management activities, or related fields.
Experience engaging at a management level during audit projects.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and take initiative.

Education & Experience A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering. Candidates with other degrees are also encouraged to apply.
Minimum of 4 years of internal or external audit level experience gained within a Big4/multinational manufacturing.
Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
ACCA / CPA / CIA / CIMA certifications are considered a plus.
Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SAP BI) is advantageous, though not mandatory.
The position is based in Altdorf (Switzerland) and requires international business travel (~20-30%).
